Yeah, this is Christmass season, meaning the days are busy and short (Sun comes up by 10, and goes down by 16) but the spirit is great.

I recently purchased these magnificent books on head and figure drawing as I'm self-learning my way as an "artist". Been thinking about the season and I'm determined to draw one of the Icelandic Yule guys (equalent to the santa clause), and the song that's attached to that one. Not before Christmass though, no time to do anything hobbyful - will need to do so after the season, or before next season.

The thing about the Yule guys (or lads, I just think guys is more like it) is that they were not made to please children. On the contrary, they were made to scare them to be good and disciplined. Heh, times have changed haven't they?
